i just thought i would take a few moments of your time and mine... my soil mix is complicated but simple... it does take time... 3 years and counting... i started with hydro, i have used coco, perlite, hydrotron rock, rockwool and slabs, water, and air as a medium... i have built and tested 20+ systems, bio buckets, gutters, DWC, RECDWC, AERO, fill n drain, sonic foggers, coco... but any who, i no longer do chemical growing...

i have mixed soil for about 5 years now... trying different brands and blends with potting mixes, top soils, fertilizers, containers from cheep dollar store to high end pro mix... but there always seemed to be some kind of headache... ph problems, pest bugs, fungus, molds, and just what ever was in that store bought bag... well, ima just get to the point...

So the chickn poo is cooking as its still in the coop floor? Id definently use lactobacillius once a week as a bedding foliar in your coop. The laco helpd break down the organic matter faster and also kills the smell some as its converting it to become bio available! Making lacto is simple and everybody who has farm animals should be using this in the water as it helps digestion leading to less feeding due to a more efficient digestion due to the probiotic lacto!

Www.theunconventionalfarmer.com will show you step by step how to make lacto, bim, bloom fert, veg fert, cal-phos, karanja extract, immuno boost and so on! So far ive made the cal-phos for transition, bloom and alfalfa seed hormone boost. The veg is a cold press fish hyroslate(spellings off) more richer than emulsions in aminos and hormones as it isnt hot pressed.

i am not into yeald, as the ferts i use are left over from years past... my coop is way over sized for the amount of chickens it houses... and im just to lazy to mess with a fermentation like above... not saying i wont try it, as the info is awsome... for me at this point, i would rather grab a shovel and a wheel barrel and throw some soil in a pot with a plant... and see what it gives me...
